Twisted Theory

I've always come across a lot of art works on the school building. There were drawings, some with motto, and some with motivational phrases.

There’s one motivational phrase which I stumbled years ago when I was teaching in a rural school in Sarawak. The phrase goes as:

Semakin banyak kita belajar, semakin banyak yang kita tidak tahu

Which can be literally translated as,

The more we learn, the more we do not know

The first thing I asked myself was “Why learn?” LOL! The phrase was written in a school some more! Kind of misleading right :P

Well, the original means of this phrase is to tell students that the more we learn, we’ll realize that there’s a lot more that we have yet to know.

These few days I was surfing online (school holiday ma~~) and found another similar phrase but it is in a form of equation. I bet a lot of you have seen this but I think it’s pretty amusing. Anyway, enjoy :D

the universal formula for power

Therefore, substitute Power with knowledge and Time with money. This is what we get...

Therefore...

Well, according to this formula, we must learn as little as possible so that we can learn infinite money! Just another twisted theory -_-"

p/s: the person who created this theory is pretty brilliant, isn't it?
